Carolina buckthorn vs rusty blackhaw viburnum

I don't want to put anyone in an awkward position -- like choosing which is their favorite child -- but I'd love to hear first-hand impressions of folks that have either Rusty Blackhaw Viburnum or Carolina Buckthorn. Or both.
I'd love to hear the merits of each, as well as the not-so-great stuff. I'd like to plant both, but if I run short of space, I may have to choose.
I've read that for good fruit-set, the RBV is happiest with a companion (not clone). Is that true of the CH as well?
Which one do the birds find most attractive? Any butterfly-attractant power to either? Ornamentally is one superior to the other?
So, go ahead and dish -- what you like/don't like about each one. And if you have both, which is your favorite?
Thanks in advance for the friendly and informative posts that I know will follow.
