Pine Tree Pollen Dust?

Has anyone had problems with transplants from pine tree pollen dust? Some of my transplants have had leaves yellow and develop dark brown/black spots like on a leopard's fur coat, starting from the bottom leaves and spreading upward. Leaves and branches droop also and transplants have seemed to lose vigor and growth. I have large pine trees very close by which have just gone through spreading unusually heavy pollen dust over the past month since they have been transplanted. I know pine bark and needles, so I assume also pollen, are acidic. Some transplants of different varieties have been affected, while others within feet of the affected ones have not yet.
