'giant' sugar apple flowering...

...finally, after only 1.5 years . It´s about 1m tall and like everything else, potted.

I remember Abiu told me last year about sugar apples´ early flowering and fruiting behavior. I was very skeptical about his belief but he was right after all (I thought they took 2-3 years at least to flower). He argued his sugar apples fruit trees had this behavior because his trees were in a hot and humid unheated greenhouse and were constantly fertilized (no fertilizer on mine). Wonder if will hold any.

Theobroma angustifolia has the record for the faster fruit tree flowering behavior (only 6 months after germination!!! no fruit set of course).
