Atemoya/Sugar Apple cuttings

Hopefully, looking for 2 specific varieties the 48-26(Lisa) Atemoya and the Kampong Mauve Red Sugar Apple? Anybody got any cuttings to spare? Also I wouldn't mind any other type of atemoya/sugar apple varieties. Willing to pay for postage or trade. Also if you are in O.C./L.A., CA. I would love to drop by for cuttings. Thanks!!

i have both, wish you would of told me earlier i just topped my 48/26 because it was developing a v shaped crotch. its early spring though so a little more pruning woldnt matter. i can get you out a few of each if you cant find them local. i have a box to ship already too.

are you going to graft them, do you need specific branches or buds?

Susana, you could grow Sugar Apples in containers. You could bring them inside when a freeze is predicted. They go dormant in Winter, but may die if temps go to 28. They are small trees and are easy to keep under control. They are heavy producers, and start at young ages. I consider them terrific fruit trees, easy, fast, small, needing minimal attention, and the fruit is oh so good! I have Red, Green and Golden Sugar Apples, Geffner Atemoya, 4826 Atemoya and Golden Atemoya. I will have lots of seeds available within a few months, as the many fruits are maturing. Lisa

Ethan, I'm looking for year old stems that hasn't pushed out new growths yet(usually still having lasts years leaf still attach). Maybe about pencil size in thickness.

Jsvand, looks like I may be a week or two late.

Kush, I am grafting and topworking some cherimoyas to get some new varieties into yard. I just shot you a pm.

I already pulled all the leaves off and now seeing new growth and flowers. Might have to wait until next year.
