Gonna need a little more info. Where are you at and what is the weather like? Is this a mail order plant straight out of the box? You say you planted it in a container. Where was it before? These answers will help pinpoint the issue.

In the meantime, I would remove all the leaves that look bad and prune the plant back a good deal. Also put it in shade and make sure the soil is not dry, but not wet either. I would put a huge, clear plastic wrap around the plant to boost humidity as much as possible. You are in survival mode right now.

I think the plant may be a little "weak" during the winter months. The air is also drier during this time. Since these tropical plants thrive in warm and moist weather, I'm wondering if it's due to lack of hydration. You might also want to hold back on your fertilizer since during the Winter months, they are kind of dormant and not growing new leaves so they do not need that much fert. If I were you, I would remove the dried up leaves, or almost dried up leaves and if the tips of branches look droopy, snip the ends off to promote new growth. Then watch it closely.

I also own a wax jumbo which I bought last year. It's now in the pot and its leaves look ok hough not as green as in the Summer. I would suggest not to let it dry out for too long. As soon as it feels dry on the surface, try to water it again and give it plenty of sun.

As to infestation, unless you see leave spots or leaves being munched away, it's hard to know what it is that is bothering it. With the warmer Spring weather around, it should bring some hope to your plant that it will do better. All the best.
