Stories about accidentally-crossed OP varieties

Just for fun -

Let's hear some stories about OP varieties grown from seed that didn't come true to type. I can start off with mine -

Last year I grew 10 plants; 2 were supposed to be Great White but one produced yellow cherry tomatoes and the other produced mealy, bland, reddish plum tomatoes. By the end of the season I was sticking firecrackers in those nasty red plums. The yellow cherries were OK, but yields weren't super and I've had better cherry tomatoes than those. And I had been looking forward to white beefsteak tomatoes...

I think there might be some more interesting stories of accidental cross-pollination...let's hear what other strange cross-breeds have been grown...
