The only Brug we have is one that we got at last years Fall Swap from Joe and it didn't get big enough this year to fork so it didn't bloom. I have no idea what color it will be if it does bloom.

Hey Jeff,

Could we have a mini lesson on Brugs at the fall swap? I know Joe won't be there - BOO!, but maybe Rebecca would be willing. I don't know much about them and would like to learn more. Mom and I were wondering today about that whole "Y" thing - why it's important, if you cut down below that point or above it, etc. I'll bet others would be interested too, particularly our friends further south.

If it's brug info y'all want for the swap, then Judith and Joe are definitely our resident guru's. I believe Judith wrote the FAQ section for the brugmansia forum on gw. Either she or Joe or both were instrumental in getting that forum going. Rebecca isn't going to be able to make this swap due to other committments. Maybe Judith will do the honors if we ask nicely!!

Thank you Marianne! This is only my second year growing these guys, but Judith is your gal! I can tell you how to root them but I can't explain mother nature and the Y stuff, I just know it has to do that to bloom.

P.S. I think a Brug learning session at the swap would be great, too.

Claudia: You can't see it real well in that reduced version, but it says "This is a fake" in small letters near the bottom. I just have to break that out every once in a while.
