Determinate tomatoes in hanging baskets?

I've read about growing tomatoes in hanging baskets and bought some seeds of three determinate varieties specifically to try growing in hanging baskets. The three varieties I bought were Cream Sausage, Green Sausage, and Silvery Fir Tree. All three had claims of doing well in hanging baskets in their seed catalog descriptions.

So now I'm trying to find my baskets. So far, I haven't found very large ones. I found a 12" x 12" x 8"(d) self watering container that's square (an advantage) and a 13" diameter round container that about 10" deep. These both seem awfully small for tomatoes. Will these smaller determinate varieties do okay in this size container? Do I need to try and hunt down some larger baskets?
