UPDATE: 2nd Annual Seed Addicts Swap

The last swapper arrived today, so the real work begins. I sent 2 today, have at least 2 ready to send tomorrow (these are the most southern swappers) and hope to finish everone's this weekend.

Well, I worked my rear off fri & Sat to get all in the mail by noon on Sat, but...I messed up and thought I had until noon but it actually closed at 10:30, oops. So, I crossed my fingers and sent the ones I thought had enough postage (pick up was @ 4) and held back 2 iffy ones which will go out hopefully on Monday if I can mail them from work - if not then Tue.

Sat was a really crazy mad rush and I seemed to have lost 3 lables, and one set of stamps, so if you get handwritten envelopes that is why. Also if you get someone elses Addy in your envelope, that may be where they went. I think it was my own fault, but it may have been the twins "trying to help" When I actually let them in the same room the last 15 minutes. They did put some of the paper scraps from the backs of stamps and labels into one that I had to fish out...So, anything wierd in there is a "gift" from them (18 mo. today).

Everybody got a few bonuses and any wishes I could fill-I did. I even "shared" a few of my personal trades and purchases for a few when I could to help fill some wishes.
Hopefully you will like what I sent your way. Some "Dislikes" couldn't be avoided do to too many of certain trades that had to be devided up, but I tried to honor them as much as possible.

Abbey, I received my seeds yesterday & was absolutely delighted with the number & selection! You did a wonderful job. Thanks so much. The work that you put into this was phenominal. I was sorry that I didn't get any "treasures" from the Twins. I am really loving GW!!! Brenda

Hi all I am finished filling I starting putting in the bonus packs as I tape them up and put the postage on I didn't realize how long it takes to get 30 envelopes ready to be mailed the ones who sent delivery confirmation have to go to the post office so that will have to wait till Monday I am going to take them all there to be mailed I have a mailbox on my corner but temperatures are going below 0 I was afraid to just drop them in my luck the mailman wouldn't have picked them up BRRRRR poor seeds. I put the extras in little ziplocs I sent the extras packs I wouldn't use also in with the bonus seeds. I think you all will be pleased I wish all of the seeds I send could have been from your want lists but we had to eat the seeds sent for the 3 girls who didn't send and most of those were pretty common seeds I tried to give you the seeds you didn't ask for as close to your wants as possible. Meow! Two boxes arrived today! And Dad told me last night that we were only waiting on one. Well, in his defense, he was pretty drugged up. He came home with a tired achey back, so I slipped some catnip into the margarita he had with dinner. What a combination! It always gets my fur in a tizzy...lol! You've all been great to play with, even you humans weren't too bad! LOL! I need to go take my late-afternoon nap, so I'm going to let my lovely assistant take over and do some accounting. She'll figure out if everyone has received their box or not. If everyone has, then she'll close out the swap. I do have one question before we end though. Would anyone like to meet back here towards the end of the summer and have a perennial swap? I'll host again if so. Let me know, and stay tuned. You never know what's going to happen next! Hi Abbey,

I received my seeds today and am very pleased with the selection and amounts as well! I feel really bad though because the stamps and address label that I sent you for the return trip were still in the envelope! Thank you for adding stamps and label of your own. I really appreciate it. Hope you didn't think I was a deadbeat...
