And since Brad Gates is the owner of Wild Boar Farms and the one who has found so many natural crosses in his tomato growing fields you might consider asking folks here what others of his that they like and ordering them at the same time.

I do like Brad's Black Heart.

Furry Yellow Hog is, I think, available at Baker Creek and with time I'm sure that many more of Brad's varieties will be listed here and there.

Little Lucky is also available at Victory Seeds. Little Lucky, a selection of the initial Lucky Cross, appeared in Craig LeHoullier's garden as a natural cross between Brandywine and an unknown male parent. Craig was the source of seeds to Victory Seeds and has intereacted with Mike Dunton who owns that company for quite a few years, as I have more recently since before that my associations have been primarily with Sandhill and TGS and in the way past with Pinetree.

Thanks everyone! I hadn't come across Wild Boar Farms yet, and now my bank account is going to wish I hadn't...wow! A lot of my tomato seeds are from swaps, Baker Creek or Pinetree.
I'm probably going to spend the rest of the day on Tatiana's site. For a newbie tomatophile, it's a bit overwhelming how many different combos there are. Also, I found out Heaven's Joy was a growout, so not available yet. I recognized one of the "reporters" as the source of the picture I saw (Bastrop, TX).

Heaven's Joy is not worth growing unless it's just the cute name you're taken by. Grew it last year and it won't be back. Also, little lucky is nothing like Lucky Cross. May be better production-wise but taste is inferior to LC.

What didn't you like about Heaven's Joy? I just really like the purple/black tomatoes, and the one I saw was a very deep purple. I'm also looking into ordering Lucky Cross, once I get a bigger list of things to order.

You can pick up Lucky Cross and many other varieties from Victory Seeds.
