Ants in my raised beds

I am late getting my stuff planted this year because of wild weather AND I'm just finishing my drip irrigation to my raised beds. The beds were built 2 years ago. As I was putting the drip in yesterday, I've noticed that I have lots and lots of little black ants throughout 3 of my raised beds. LOTS.

I'm not a big pesticides person- especially not around food crops. Do I need to kill the ants before I plant? I'd like to plant in the next day or two. I'm thinking ants + strawberries could be bad. I have a lot of money and effort invested in my raised beds and I'd like to actually have them start producing produce for my family. I'm not overly eager to share the produce with ants but I'm not sure which, if any, of the plants they will bother.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.
