Spring Seed Swap

Spring Seed Swap. You send in seeds and get new seed packets back.

1. Make sure you mark what the seeds are and info about the seeds on each packet. Please include enough seeds for that person to try out.

2. Please no more then 5 packets of one kind.

3. Swap limit is 100 seed packets. Any Extra Seeds will be freebies. You will get the same number of seeds back or more.

4. Make sure you include a list of seeds that you sent in.

5. Please include an address Label with your address on it. So that I can use to mail your envelope back out to you.

6. Please include enough postage to have it mailed back to you.

7. Your seeds for the swaps is to be mailed to me by

April 1. I will mail the envelopes back out with the new seeds soon after.

Sara, Much cooler-but I had forgotten just how humid it is out there. And green, it was a jungle! I always laugh when I hear folks here speak of the "humidity". Certainly it is alot more humid than Colorado, Arizon and the rest of the southwest. But it is actually much much drier here than the east coast. It was usually between 68-72 degrees F in the mornings during my trip, yet I was dripping with sweat from the humidity. Oh well, there are weather issues no matter where you are, just got to learn how to deal with it. My tomatos all died while I was gone, yet I was able to start a new crop of squash for the fall, certainly couldn't do that in the northeast. Oh,and I emphasize it was "usually" humid during my trip. The 1st day I was there it was 75, dry, with a slight breeze-of course that was on the coast while wading in the surf at Rye beach. Sigh...

Tomorrow is the last day for signing up. We are on a fast pace already. A number of swappers have sent thier packages in and we *might* be able to get finished sooner than March 7th at this rate. I will be sending packages out no later than March 10th but hope to be able to get them out before that. Thanks, Kelly

Beth, I'm so sorry I haven't written sooner. Between work and a sinus infection I got my back side kicked a bit this week. Antibiotics are working so I'm back to myself... mostly. A three day weekend filled with plant and yard time will help. Beth I LOVE LOVE LOVE the birdhouse, the sun charm, and the seeds (I didn't have most of them)! Did you make the birdhouse? Will birds crawl in and nest there? I'm really excited to try. We get a lot of hummers, barn swallows, mountain orioles, and meadow larks here. Now I'll have to watch for the little wrens. Thank you so much!!!

Count me in on this swap. Although I am still packing up my moms house I don't have to be in a hurry. I am moving into the house but first there is some remodeling that has to be done to it. So I can take my time. Thank goodness. She had 4 closets full of clothes that no one in my family can wear. Like I told her when she was alive I will have a huge yard sale when she is gone. So now I am going to have 2 or 3 yard sales.
Anyway count me in in this swap.
