Most of us started out offering Marigold seeds for expensive plants, so yes - you learn as you go. I visited Miami, several years ago, and was smitten with the Plumeria trees I saw in peoples' yards. I was brazen and knocked on the doors, asked for cuttings and was give a suitcase full of cuttings! I also found some in the yard waste piles in front of peoples' homes, so just get out and drive around. You learn, once you are addicted to plants, to always carry paper towels, garden shears and baggies with you at all times. You will be able to gather cuttings and seeds whenever you find them and get permission!

um, why would you soak a plumeria cutting in water over winter? I would say chances are that cutting is no good anymore. From what I understand plumerias go dormant in winter and get no water at all. To much water rots cuttings. But anyways you already sent me an email letting me know that you didnt have plumeria cutting or named amaryllis, but thank you again for the offer, I will have to pass. I am looking for named plants as I have very few with names besides adeniums, trying to weed out the noids so I know what I have. I am sure your plants are just lovely, I just am trying to be specific with my hobby because of postage prices.
