Incredible HEIRLOOMS MARCH,

Spring Sensation

This will be for any vegetables that can be planted in the Spring by any method. The seeds can be almost ANYTHING the only requirement is they MUST be able to be planted in the Spring. and of coruse HEIRLOOMS!

Pretty simple isn't it? Please check your partner's list for this and find appropriate seeds

to meet this condition. IF for some reason you can not find something suitable then please ask you partner what they might like or to take a peek at you haves so they may choose from your haves.

Sign-up will be until Feb 27th partners will be posted on Feb 28th

Please send your your package out to your partner no later the March 10th

Please send at least 6 New packs of Heirloom Edibles OR their equivalent of opened packs to equal the same amount ofÂ 6 full packages of seeds.

Once partner's have been postedÂ please contact your partner as soon as possible after partners have been chosen in order to begin carrying out and completing this swap.

As always required for our group PLEASE post your DC# here once you package is on the move.

Boo honey at the moment we don't know what we will be doing. Unsure about a PO box. I guess the mail will HAVE to go somewhere, we do have BILLS that MUST make it through, UNLESS I can figure out how to generate my own power which has ran through my brain MANY times..hehe AS far as our so called 'friends' they're around when they WANT something, not when WE need something. Actually you folks are the only ones who KNOW we are moving! LOL I didn't actaully TELL anyone, I just posted it. It wasn't planned, the SO just found the place on the 20th of this month, it for the most part is something we have been wishing to find for YEARS so it couldn't be passed up and I had ALREADY commited to hosting March in the swaps I am hosting plus I have the Bday Bash group i started BUT this is MY momth so all is well there. NOW we have found out we may not be able to have cable service, which is WHO DOES MY INTERNET!!! They said they do not show it on the grid and they will come 'LOOK' to see if they CAN install it there!!! OMG, the place isn't per se in the 'boonies' it is in the 'sticks' though and is way off the main road road there are 7 homes down there so I can't understand why the mail doesn't run down there and why cable can't find it! This house we are moving to isn't even on the same POWER company as the rest of that WHOLE AREA! GEEZE, it is COUNTRY and it will be quiet, can't see the neighbors by the lay of the land, we were looking for something like this BUT geeze, I WAS HOPING to STILL be in civilization! OH well, we'll just have to see what comes up and deal with that issue, one at a time :)!!! At any rate, once we move I may not have internet connect for a few days, I thought it was going to be installed, but he told me NO they said they will come LOOK at it! When I returned from delivering the mail today, a package was waiting at my case for me, and what a package! Lorraine (paradisa) sent a wonderful package to me! So nice, that I had to take pictures so I could share them with you all! When I opened up my box, I found another box wrapped in blue tissue with a white bow. Once I had that open, there were a lot of smaller packages, all wrapped up in blue tissue with white ribbons. One of my co-workers watched while I opened up everything, and she kept saying how good of a time SHE was having, just watching me open up everything! Well, here are a couple of pictures of the box, which Lorraine sent for me to keep seeds in... and here's a picture of everything with the box opened up... And now, let me tell you what was inside this wonderful box! First, Lorraine sent a lot of stuff, including the see box, which had a wolf theme. I love wolves, consider them my totem, and love what she sent! Now, here's what was inside this box! a CD by Jim Gaffigan, a comedian, so I can relax and have a few laughs. I've already listened to some of this CD, and it really is funny! a peacock feather (don't know why, but very cool!) a wonderful card package of 25 plant labels dehydrated tomatoes (I'll use these in my cooking) homemade strawberry jam 2 packs of seed envelopes a small wolf notebook wolf-themed calendar/checkbook cover wolf bookmark medium-sized wolf-themed notebook 11 different types of tomato seeds nasturtium mix double-click cosmos white brown-eyed susan vine chinese lanterns yellow clasping coneflower cosmos - bright lights cosmos - orange fluted cosmos - tall yellow cosmos - picotee calendula toothache plant geum trifloreum morning glories nemophilia - penny black rose seeds (I've been wanting to try to grow roses from seeds!) gomphrena hardy pink hibiscus (from Lorraine's hibiscus) blue sweet peas fan fare gallardia this box was incredible! Hey Guys! Sorry I have not been posting as much as usual, my allergies are so extreme this year. I cant even leave the house. It is driving me insane! The headaches make my computer time very short. But on a happy note, I recieved my awesome package from Toni! We were partners in both the Double Delights swap and the ESS swap, so I am just going to list everything from both swaps to make it easier! 'Morning Ladies! Well I received my box from Limequilla Friday afternoon,was excellent timing because I was out digging and moving stuff in anticipation. Here is what I received from Lime/Suzy: mum-white- Yeah! It is all happy in the "white" bed! daisy-Becky( I just the day before ordered wirral daisy from bluestone so I am so excited to put this with it in my "white" bed.....) ratibia-Red Midget (I've wanted this for a long time!) rudbeckia speciosa, this was a large clump, divided out it I have 5 pots of it now - wow! anemone- label says either bluestone or it is blue? could'nt read it but love it! AND a daylily, a large division with nice fat roots. It is all happy in a pot till I figuire out its forever home....I couldnt tell if it had a name (doesnt matter to me) or what color it is but I have unconditional love for daylilies, lol. I would have loved to be in this one too, if it were any normal month for me. But this month I go in for surgery (on March 20) among other things... so I am trying to cut back on the number of RR's I do this month.

Glad you liked all the seeds. And the other stuff.

I did make the envies. Glad you liked them but I can't take credit for the idea. Alana Poisiondartfrog introduced me to them in another swap so I spent an evening making them (while DH was watching rambo) and wala had about 100 of them whew. She sent me some and I used them very quickly so decieded to learn to make them. TIP on them: I buy the dot tape (that comes on a roll like the white out strips) and put one dot on the tab to keep it closed. Haven't had any spill on me yet or any complanits;-) The nice thing about them is you can usually open it and then reclose it

You asked how to make them and I will do a template for you and post on my site. I will let you know when it is up so you can check it out. I have been making three sizes for my seeds. Oh yeah I got the small square stack of paper at AC Moores (craft store) for about 4-5 dollars it has beautiful prints on it and it had about 500 sheet I believe. I can get two envies (one small one med) out of one sheet or one large. Glad you enjoyed them and liked our swap!

DUHHHHHHHHH. Never Mind. DDUUUUUUHHHH Maybe I inhaled more of the fumes from the light that busted than I thought.

When we installed the lights to my seed rack hubby built, one of the bulbs was not locked in and fell over and exploded. When it did, I ofcourse,being the dumby, went" UUUHHH (inhale when scared) and inhaled all of the gas. My chest burned and head has hurt for 2 days. I am feeling better. But that is about the 4th duh moment I have had.

Nichol, I understand completely! I have those moments a lot myself and your right the lightbulb story was a way better reason lol.
I have broken one of those too, many times I have learned to hold my breathe and not suck in any of that stuff that comes out of them!

Hi Fran. I found the post. It was the cuttings swap. It is on page 2 now. The last full thread. Sheposted it on March 11 around 1:00 on the post. Just saving you some work. We had been chatting over there and she told me she had gotten them and prob. did not think of posting over here. Between the cuttings swap and hers she is prob. crazy busy. You would know though,LOL :) Still can't imagine doing a swap like WOW ! and moving. You are a tough cookie. LOL
