Has anyone bought any furniture from the Home Gallery, Richmond, VA? If so, how did your transaction proceed, smoothly or not? Thanks for your help. We are interested in buying an American Drew dining room set. Does anyone have any feedback about them?

I am similar with my clutter, @Lori Wagerman_Walker and @Anne. Quite good at organizing drawers and cupboards but terrible at picking up after myself. @Oakley, I finally started to tackle (and the term is apt) my "office" last week and moved everything out into the living room. You can't imagine the mess. (Marie Kondo's trick of putting all the books in one spot works really well for me.) Need to give myself a deadline for this big organization project because it could easily drag on and I'll be left with piles of random homeless stuff in the living room. @Kate E, your drawer looks great! Pat yourself on the back. :) What's really helping me purge this time around is reading (library) books and watching YT videos on minimalism. I've also started reading an organization book that is a lot more profound that any other I've read on the matter: "It's Hard to Make a Difference When You Can't Find Your Keys" by Marilyn Paul. I heartily recommend it to anyone continually struggling with organization. (Again, thank you to everyone who chimed in! I loved reading the different takes on this subject. Did my best to thank everyone for their comments but it looks as if some thank yous didn't register? Might be a site glitch.)

We don't have kids or pets to deal with so our situation is easier. We haven't made many adaptations: I change towels and facecloths every day, (used to be twice a week), and I have a supply of cheap faceclothes in the kitchen for drying hands, wiping counters, etc. We are obviously washing hands and cleaning surfaces more often than usual but I haven't set up a disinfection station as such. I do now unpack groceries on the laundry counter (adjacent to but not in the kitchen), rinse the shopping bags there, and hang them outside on the line to dry in the sun. We don't have a freezer, and may have to think about finding a small one and squeezing it into our garage at some point, but where I live, supermarkets are still open and still delivering. We already have a small study, and a bedroom with exercise equipment, so those kinds of needs are already met as well. The guest bedroom is ready and waiting should one of us get sick. There's not much else we can do but wait it out and keep clear of oeople.
