This question has been posted before, by me, several years ago before the first buy out. Back when suggestions and comments had many pages. Anyway, I think it petered out around 60 posts with almost all in favor of a paint forum.

It is a great idea and we will put it on the list of new forums we are adding. We are also working on the launch of home photo galleries very similar to the Garden Galleries. These should launch next week. What sort of paint related categories would you be interested in seeing?

I'm really just interested in a more technical forum related to paint.
Painting techniques, preperation, stripping, best type of paint for
application....that sort of thing.
The Home Decor forum is great to ask about "what color should I paint
this room" kinds of questions, but there is so much other stuff there
as well.
I hope that this helps and I hope to see the new forum real soon.

A gallery of rooms based on various popular colors would be nice. I don't think the forum needs to be purely techinical either. There's going to be overlap of course, between that and the home decorating forum. However, I do think it should be for interiors and things inside, as opposed to exterior house and deck painting.
