I posted this in good faith but it has turned into a philosophical discussion. My intention was to let people know of a good deal so they can take advantage of this, if they wish. I looked up on line, clarification: (I don't know if I can give a link here) but if you search "seed companies owned by Monsanto", it comes up with the long list. Monsanto owns "American Seeds" (and I don't think they sell retail because this name does not even come on seed company searches) not "American seed co". Also, I doubt Monsanto would sell their GMO or Hybrid seeds for 2 cents or allow their subsidiaries to do so. The "American seed co" I am referring to is "American Seed Co" by Plantation products LLC". I did not see any Hybrid varieties among those seeds at Dollar General (or elsewhere), so they are all heirlooms. Like others have pointed out, Plantation sells seeds under ferry Morse, McKenzie, Jiffy, NK Lawn & Garden. I have seen these brands sold at major chains. As far as germination rates, I planted same seeds this summer which I had picked up last year for 5 cent per packet. I did not have any problem with any of the veges but did have poor germination with some flowers, perhaps I planted some at wrong time of the year. Even if the germination rate was 50%, at 2 cents a packet, they are still hell of a bargain. Who needs 50 or 100 seeds of one variety any way (except for a few commercial or semi-commercial growers here).

Imagineer, I agree that a gallery would help keep all the photos together. I have no idea how to even USE the gallery concept of GWeb, I get confused by the links that lead to strange places which do not look familiar when I get there. And I thank you very much for linking the two houses from the SGG movie. I liked elements of both (naturally I am never consistent). Trying to live a streamlined life, as in the LA house, while residing in the small cottage, well, that is the problem. Or I should say, that is the CHALLENGE. I do not want to live with real clutter, having a visceral fear of HOARDING. You know, at what point does it quit being cozy and in lovely disarray, and start being plain old unkempt? I think that is a fine line to walk. I don't know how you go about requesting a gallery, but I sure do know how to upload photos. And I do agree, that the issues we deal with in our smaller homes have unique solutions which are not often featured in forums devoted to decorating or kitchen design, etc, in general. Even the appliances I prefer in my small kitchen are different than the ones I'd choose if I had a spacious kitchen. The same is true of the bath. But sometimes, it is up to the owner of a smaller home to devote a larger space to a comfort they simply cannot do without....like having a much more spacious master suite than you'd expect in a really small house. Glad to see you here today. I've missed everyone, even though I know that spring is too good to waste indoors!

wendy - Great points. Since the original layouts posted above, I've been trying different things with a lot more frames. I'm getting the hang of it, I think. I won't be sticking with anything like the original layouts I posted. pammy - I will watch the height placement of the smaller frames. shee - I know what you mean about the symmetry thing. I did purchase many more frames, so that is helping, but I actually need more yet! Well, this little project has turned into a bigger project. juddgirl - Thanks for the links. Some of the frames came with matting already, which is nice, and I got a lot of the frames at 50% off (after Christmas sales). So, right now I have 17 frames, some matted, and I've spent less than $200. While I agree that having identical frames and matting makes it easier to pull everything together, I'm attracted to the more casual look of a variety of frame styles. I am sticking to the same color for them, though. I know I'm making it harder in doing it this way, but I'll figure it out somehow.
