Hi! I am by no means an expert,but in my experience the ones I have tried all bloomed first year,they are not perennial here in PA.They grow so fast I cant see the point in doing all the work to dig them up! I know they like to be kept moist through germination,at least the ones I have! You probably would have better luck trying the growing from seed forum!Good Luck!~Angie

Hi there - I have developed an interest in starting daylilies from seed. So, I have been looking to trade as I can, since I don't grow many things from seed or harvest much. I do have single lavender datura that I could trade you for some daylily seeds of your choice. I have a pack or two of commercial seed that I wasn't able to plant this year that you may be interested in. I am not picky as far as the seeds go. I really like the pink taffy plant in the picture, but of course it is crossed with an ??? so who knows what it will turn out like? That's part of the fun isn't it? I'd hate to tell you, Aker, but the only yellow Datura (Datura metel var chlorantha) is not at all fragrant. The double mutation seems to not allow for a very fragrant bloom.
