My Garden Is On Fire! (Part 1).....Long!

Hi Everyone,

I was out in my garden today and with the sun shining down illuminating everything, it looked like the warm-colored flowers were going to burst into flame. I wanted to share these pics with you all, to bring some rays of sunshine into your day! I have SO MANY to share I will do this in 2 seperate installments...this is Part 1. Enjoy!

Next to the Admiral's Salon is a chapel. This painting, by Alejo Fernandez, is titled Virgin of the Navigators and is thought to have been painted 1531 Ã¯Â¿Â½" 1536. It depicts the Virgin Mary as she connects the old world under her left foot and the new world under her right foot. Among those depicted in the main panel are Ferdinand II, Charles V, Christopher Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci. Depicted in the four outlying panels are: St. Sebastian, St. James the Great, St. Elmo and St. John the Evangelist.

I planed miniatures under tree roses and love the final look of it. @lesmc: my Ebb Tide is easy going as Livin' Easy. @canadian_rose: I like to plan hybrid tea roses for cutting, but along the way, other non-hybrid tea roses convince me that they have a spot in my garden, too. - Luscious: I agree, its color is beautiful. - Liv Tyler: it has one of the best fragrances. It is sensitive to powdery mildew in my garden but I think it's worth the trouble :) - Firefighter: I saw the bloom and I told myself, I need the camera :) - Bishop's Castle: I just got it this year for its fragrance. - Bella'roma: I got it bare root this year and I think once it is established, its fragrance will get stronger.

I have that same Astilbe! I have 4, they are great. I want to stick my nose in Teasing Georgia. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind comments! I am so happy to wake up each day to all the beauty and variety that my garden brings...it is so spiritual & peaceful out there, and sharing it with all of you makes it even sweeter.

Gulp! More gorgeous flowers. WOW WOW WOW!!!!I bet you spend most of your time outdoors enjoying the colors and scents of your stunning garden, right? Truly beautiful.

Gorgeous photos and very pretty colorful plants.Love them water lilies.I had to get rid of my pool,and turned it in to a rose bed.Snakes wouldn't stay out of my pool so decided it was time for the pool to go.Moved my big goldfish to above ground pool I built and have a top on it to keep them out.

Glad you liked the water lilies...yes, I would be happy to post some pics of my water gardens, and will do so in the next couple of days. Having water gardens is a challenge here in New Hampshire, since our summers are SO short, and the ponds freeze solid in the wintertime. The Fall brings loads of falling leaves from the trees overhead, so it seems we are always working on keeping up the ponds...but we do so enjoy them. Our watergardens are small, but contain many native water plants and the froggies take up residence all summer. We even had some frogs hibernate beneath the frozen ice all winter, and when the ice thawed, there were the froggies to greet us! Our water gardens are all natural since we don't use any filtration systems and the water plants & froggies seem to prefer the natural balance in the pond...I have plenty of pictures, plus some of the frogs too, so look for them soon.

So lovely to see Lillies, they are one of my very favorites, yours are wonderful! Have you ever grown Silk Road? I grew it for the first time this year and was so pleased! Some of your flame-colored roses are amazing!
