Good Morning, Everyone! Smoke, thank you for the photos and info on those peppers. I hope you don't think I was trying to discourage anyone from trying them, I just felt bad that I couldn't give them any information on them. Wouldn't it be neat if we could name one of the peppers Smoke's Mystery Pepper, or Smoke's Russian Roulette Pepper? You would be famous : ) BTW, do you grow your own Mexican Oregano, or buy the dried leaves somewhere. I have a perennial herb bed, and grow lots of annual herbs in pots, but haven't tried to grow that one yet. I do know that my dried herbs taste waaaay fresher than what you can buy at the grocery store. My husband bought a smoker a year or two ago, but I hadn't really given any thought to making my own dry rubs before. He can't tolerate much heat, but maybe I can come up with a blend that incorporates some milder peppers as well. Thank you for the inspiration!!! Thank you, Tanya and Randy, for the kind words! Well, I worked my rear off fri & Sat to get all in the mail by noon on Sat, but...I messed up and thought I had until noon but it actually closed at 10:30, oops. So, I crossed my fingers and sent the ones I thought had enough postage (pick up was @ 4) and held back 2 iffy ones which will go out hopefully on Monday if I can mail them from work - if not then Tue. Sat was a really crazy mad rush and I seemed to have lost 3 lables, and one set of stamps, so if you get handwritten envelopes that is why. Also if you get someone elses Addy in your envelope, that may be where they went. I think it was my own fault, but it may have been the twins "trying to help" When I actually let them in the same room the last 15 minutes. They did put some of the paper scraps from the backs of stamps and labels into one that I had to fish out...So, anything wierd in there is a "gift" from them (18 mo. today). Everybody got a few bonuses and any wishes I could fill-I did. I even "shared" a few of my personal trades and purchases for a few when I could to help fill some wishes. Hopefully you will like what I sent your way. Some "Dislikes" couldn't be avoided do to too many of certain trades that had to be devided up, but I tried to honor them as much as possible. Andy, your beans are still NOT there? They should be. I put them in the PO mailbox last Saturday. Even if they did not pick it up until after the weekend and the holiday (Tuesday), I would think that you still should of had them by now. Although the mail has been messed up here on the East Coast because of all the snow storms. Maybe that is it. I had emailed Sandhill because I never got their catalog yet this year and usually I have an order in to them by now. I did finally get the magazine 2 days ago, but they wrote me back saying that they sent it out all the way on the 7th of January, and that they had other people from the East inquiring about where their magazine was too. So, I hope that is it. Donna, hers was sent out the same day as yours Andy, and she got her seeds, however she is right on the East Coast like me so that could be why. Angelady, did you get yours? yours should of been to you also since it was in a priority mailer box. Well Andy, I would not worry yet. Just please let me know asap when you get them so I do not start to worry! I would think Monday they would have to be there after all of this time? Shucks, I was hoping to see you post that you received them. Also Andy, incase I forgot to write it in your envie, I have some greasy beans coming to me at some point.
