My pictures are too large to post!

I am very frustrated! Every time I have tried to post a picture (from Adobe) I get a message saying that it is larger than 61 kilobytes but when I check on Adobe it says 56.something kb...which is smaller than 61. What do you have to do to post pictures? There are so many beautiful ones on this site but I can't figure it out!!

It's easiest to get a free account on something like Photobucket, post the pictures there, and then copy the URL from below the photobucket picture and paste it into your posting. That ways you can post multiple pictures per thread.

I just got on the Photobucket site. Thank you for the suggestion. Is there a way of seeing the pictures without the slide show? I would like to show pictures as stills but haven't figured out how to do that yet. I saw a slide show on another thread, but it quivers a little and makes things harder to see.

Thanks, Eahamel! I've looked at this thread several times already, love everyone's pics!! It's cloudy today and they sure are cheery. Here's one I like to touch even more than to look at, it's fuzzy and kind of smells good when gently molested. A cutting I appropriated from a giant planter in Sept. Starting to make a flower stalk.

Plectanthrus flowers. Ledebouria flower. Gasteraloe pup. One of these things. Surprised that the E. Vigueri is leafing out already. Didn't do that till about April last year. It also flowered first. You can see the other half of the pereskia in the pic above. I should probably trim it sometime. No comment about the relative happiness of these two but they're not doing terrible. Also surprised this guy is already leafing out.

You really do have so many beauties. Too many for just one favorite. I don't know if it is good or bad that things have slowed down. Good that you have more time to post and hopefully not as much garden work to do. Bad that the daylily season is done!

It's lovely!!! Since you have little ones, can you tell me if the pebbletec is rough for them? I know yours are too little to probably have their feet touching all the time, but mine are 9-10-13 and seem to always be "running" in the pool (neighborhood pool)....I'm just worried that maybe I should go up to the pebble sheen, but not many people where I live (AL) have either so I can see the difference...would love your take on the texture and if you can compare it to something!! :) I love the color of your pool and the coping! Once you have your photo uploaded, left click the HTML tag, then right click to copy. Post a message and left click again to post the picture. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Carla. That sounds easy enough. When I have the time to take some decent pictures I will post them.
