It is so hard at that age. When they get older, they know it's coming, too, and can get to the toilet. But toddlers/preschoolers, it just spews wherever they are! They don't understand, they just see/feel their body doing something very scary and painful. It's hard. Poor Grant! I'm glad he got his rest and is getting back to himself. The worst night I had was when #4 was about 18 mos, which made the others 3, 6, and 9 at the time. About 4am one of them woke up sick, threw up, about the time I had that one settled back down in clean sheets the next one woke up and threw up. And it continued until all 4 of them had thrown up 3-4 times. It was just constant well into the next afternoon. At first I thought I must have fed them all something bad and went through the kitchen trying to consider the possible problem, but some friends reported the same bug with their kids and DH and I avoided it. Oh, the laundry! Every blanket, sheet, pillowcase, and big beach towel in the house was a mess. I think I avoided that one somehow. A little girl on DD's gymnastic's team was sick (nauseous, didn't throw up yet) this weekend at while at the gym. Her mom warmed up Sprite in the microwave for the girl to sip before she took her home. She said it works for her kids every time.

AWWWW...big wet sloppy kisses and a Happy Birthday to you Dakota!! She's a real sweetie and it is a heartbreaker that they don't live long... Now go bake her a cake or at the very least some white cupcakes!! (I did that after I priced a doggie cake at the store...17.00...it was more then a REAL cake!)

danuv, all those metal staples are my least favorite part about ordering roses from RPN, especially, since the invoice with the directions about how to free the roses from the package was only visible after I'd already extricated the roses. Imagine my excitement when I got my package today and found that the staples missed two of the four roses, and I could just pick them right out of the box with no staple removing needed! The other two were properly stapled, and all were secure and undamaged. I like your reasoning about finding room for 'MBRC'. I just hope she doesn't decide she wants to be a double-decker bus... Pretty petals...500 roses! I have en entire back yard that doesn't have a single flower/shrub, etc., ..but I'm pacing myself. :-) Rose_crazy - the soil is all that but there are still chunks of that deep red sticky clay. I can't recall any place that has yellow roses down here....but I have seen other bush roses (nothing this pretty I don't think!) Let's hope they adapt and I can keep the happy! Diane...thank you! The yellow/purple combo has become my favorite and my son had no idea when he bought the Get Mees. He just knew I needed plants and his "new tradition" he said was going to be to buy perennials each year. (I like that tradition!) Your Get Mees look great.
