second attempt at fruit x pepper jam

I went at it again. and the results are marvelous.

this time it was pineapple/blueberry/reaper.

anyone who drinks smoothies knows that blueberry and pineapple are pretty much the best fruit combination in existence. add a nice kick of heat, and it's heaven. pineapples are 2.50 at walmart right now.

1 pineapple
I wanna say like a half pound of blueberries. I'll double check this.
3 cups sugar
equivalent of 1 packet NSN pectin
1 tbsp lime juice
1 carolina reaper, deseeded

throw pineapple, pepper, and blueberries into blender. blend until smooth. follow normal jam making procedure after that.

yield 3 pints. next time I'm probably gonna double the recipe.

it took me 1 hour 20 minutes from the time I walked in the door from buying the fruit to the time I finished cleaning afterward.

I'm gonna be making a few more varieties in the next couple days. tomorrow I'll be making a chocolate strawberry pepper jam, and probably a straight pineapple jam. I might do an apple jam as well.

what sticks out to me is that from the color you can barely tell there's any pineapple involved, despite the pineapple being 3/4 the total fruit volume
