What a cool looking Smith's Parish bloom.
Your Lovely Lorrie & Joan Austin are uncommonly good looking minis. Lovely Lorrie actually looks like a mini OGR. I wish more mini's were more softly colored like those two.

I feel your pain. I struggled with a phone camera for a while and finally switched to a good point and shoot camera. Pictures much better but still not good enough. I have a 100mm macrolens left over from my film camera and am looking for a cannon 550 to match it up with. Make sure you get something you can manually focus. Nick

Good luck with the cuthbertsonii. It is looking good. I like those Hybrids with the B. nodosa influence because they do well around these parts, but unfortunately i've never seen Bc. Binosa on a list.

You've taken some beautiful photos Aprille of some gorgeous roses! I especially like the rose buds, Distant Drums and the last one, Berkeley Beauty. I've never seen anything like Smith's Parish.

Thanks Randy - when I got Lovely Lorrie last year it was covered in buds and blooms - took my breath away when I opened the box.

Thanks Niecey, Laurie, sorry! lol - I really loved Uncommon Roses and I'm so happy I went on a buying binge last summer and got a lot of roses from them - most of them are in pots due to space issues in the garden - but at least I have them! Smith's Parish was one of my very first purchases from Uncommon Roses (I got Charles de Mills & Fields of the Woods in that shipment as well) 4 years ago - my collection has since grown :o) - I'm an incurable Rose Addict!
