a few hybrid teas and grandifloras so far

We were having some nice, cool weather with some rain. Many of the buds were just rotting on the bush or were getting beaten in the rainstorms. Nevertheless, I did manage to capture some of the survivors. The first is a nice bloom on White Success.

The next one was one on South Seas that was trying to get away without being noticed.

Next is Melody Parfumee which was putting out quite an effort so far.

Fragrant Plum was showing that it was up to the challenge also.

A relatively new one for me, from England, Chandos Beauty was putting on a show. I don't know how it will do during the heat that has now set in.

Now that it is the third year after that horrid Easter freeze, Ace of Hearts has come around with some nice flowers. I keep struggling to get the lighting exposure right on my camera.

Even the usual Queen of Blackspot, Barbara Streisand, was showing she could do it and look good.

The last one in this batch is Aperitif, a rose with an octopus growth habit, but this flower was extra nice. I don't think the picture does it justice.

Thanks for looking.
