Wow! These are all beautiful! What a surprise to see BLUE ANGEL. I had that rose many yrs ago and loved it. I don't remember what ever happened to it, but I guess it must've died. Ya don't see it for sale anywhere anymore.

Irisgal, that is DA's Tranquility. It is pure white with a slight tinge of green when it first opens. I like it very much. I am beginning to fall in love with Chicago Peace more intense colors. I was not used to it when compared to the regular Peace. Bolero's scent is very similar to Sharifa Asma, its parent. If you grow SA already, you don't need to add Bolero for the same scent. As far as lasting, it lasts longer in cool weather than hot weather by 2-3 days.

Thanks guys! Sharlene there are actually 3 roses with the name "HOT CHOCOLATE." Besides the two you mention, there's the florist rose as well. I happen to have all three. I imagine some of those pics might be under the wrong one. Beth, HMF lists a few places that might sell PARTY TIME, but I bet none of them actually have it now. I know Hortico doesn't, and they're listed as one of them. If I'm not mistaken, it was originally a Weeks rose.

Towandaaz, mine has never been orangey. It's pale pink, medium pink and sometimes a tanish tone. This is my first full year with it and I love it! It has bloomed amazingly good but it does grow like a beast so beware of that! I ordered from Palantine and I think it was a Kordes but not positive. Rachel said it would be available again this fall.

Irisgal, I only got one seedling from BROADWAY to sprout. It's located near a stripey bed, so it could be any of those that fathered this lovely rose. The first yr, the blooms were yellow with a pink edge. Next yr, they striped!! Makes me happy!! Hasn't been a real great grower or bloomer so far. But then I'm not that good at keeping up with the feeding routine! Formis usually a little better than this too. Must be the heat.

Beth, of all places, I actually got it from Gurney's website a few years ago when I was ordering a couple of seed packets. I love how the blooms last, but it has the most wicked thorns and stiff canes! :)

You have a gorgeous assortment of roses, and I especially love the purples. I also have Blue Mist and love its little flowers and leaves, and how healthy it is.

Seil...That's exactly what I did :( I moved them out of the main album into a "2013 Roses" album. I think photobucket needs to fix that issue! I'm going to repost the thread...with pictures again...
