Blushing Knock Out (many photos)

Blushing Knock Out lives happily by the south east porch column. It competes for morning sun with the neighbor's large ilex, but no matter. I hasn't been pruned in two years, and is 7' tall, 5' wide (in varying directions). It gets a couple of handfuls of Espoma Holly-tone a year. The porch rain gutters drain to BKO's side of the garden, and I don't give it any additional water. It is extremely disease resistant here, no powdery mildew, no black spot. Nothing is sprayed on the leaves. It had leaves last year until the first hard freeze in December. It was purchased locally, it might be own-root, but I cannot remember.

This bloom is growing in part shade, and is darker than the typical shell pink color:

BKO is a sport of Knock Out. I will get blooms with coloring part BKO, part Knock Out, and I have a stem that always blooms the color of Knock Out.
