Can you please tell what kind this Cecil Brunner is, most of the time it blooms twice, it just finished blooming now and it is June 15th, and I would like to prune it as it is huge and I don't want it to out grow the arch way on the deck. So do you prune it right after it stops blooming? Thank you for your HELP!

..what a lovely fresh looking white rose in that photo above, by the wall and black railings.... I wonder where Jim in AV is as I can't find an 'AV' in the U.S. state code list...and I do so like to know where people post from... so maybe it means something else... as in the photo I am intrigued by the view in the background which looks like a partially snow covered valley spreading out far and wide towards a range of hills.... yet the weather looks warm and sunny.... I cannot fathom... ...anyway, regardless.... I hope the rose has a nice scent...

Hi Marlorena! Just saw your compliment. Thank you so much! I actually did that french drain / dry creek bed myself (mostly... I got exhausted moving riverrock at the end and enlisted help), so your compliment means a lot to me! That whole area was a huge lawn when we moved in and has redwood roots all over in it. It was a beast to transform... but I completely transformed it. The meandering rock design was to help move the water away from the house and across the yard while also looking charming. I love it now and should like to see more of it as it develops too. ;-)
