Water: I think plenty, the Wamin curls up occaissionally, so I water it, unless it is wet and curled up, then I blame it on the sunny days which are quite intense here. sun: full sun when sunny, it has been a wet and cloudy year mostly, but I think they get plenty of sun. They did just get 30 inches of rain from TS Fay, but some of this was beginning before that. I have a Bambusa Lako right next to the wamin (20 feet away) and it shows none of these signs. It does show orange-ish leaves when it gets stressed but that is usually due to major windstorms. I just noticed the yellowing leaves are also apparent on the Vulgaris common. thanks for the help. The plants have gotten worse since I posted the pictures (more yellowing with the edges of the leaves drying up). I fertilized them 5 days ago with Peters 20-20-20 diluted to one third strength but have not seen any positive changes. I think my mistake was using standard potting soil to pot them up and then adding too much water. Even though I have poked many holes in the pots, the potting soil appears to be retaining the water and they are not getting a chance to dry out. To try to salvage these plants I am going to put them in the ground this weekend and cover them with Wall-o-Waters. Hopefully I can report back in a couple of weeks that the plants recovered. As I am trying to learn from my mistakes, I have started the seeds for my main planting which will be in mid to late April. This time I will only be using Pro-Mix soilless and I will be very stingy with the water. If you spray them with Daconil Fungicide when they are at 3",6",12" and after they are planted in their permanent location you will not have this kind of problem.

Looks more like Powdery Mildew to me. No bullseye pattern that I can see but it has the classic translucent yellow patches and is common in your area acc. to IPM. See Powdery Mildew on Tomatoes Remove the affected leaves and begin a regular fungicide spraying regimen. Sulfur if you are organic only.
