I haven't tried his formula yet. The worst mite and whitefly magnet plants were disposed of. I don't see mite damage but I still see a few white flies. I've bombed the GH twice. I spray weekly changing the products to help reduce resistance. The three organic sprays were useless. I just sprayed with Malathion this time. Last time was a systemic. What do you do it they're on all the plants as were the WF and Ms? Unless you're willing to dispose of all your plants you may as well keep spraying and spraying and spraying.... and hope you don't get sick from the toxins.

I looked; thought about rust out on heaters not intended for GH use, and think I'm just going to go with the Modene, with a water resistant thermostat, mounted remotely at the opposite end of the GH from the heater. Mainly; we are coming on 72 & 65 years, and once we get the GH up and running, want (and will need) as many years of trouble free operation as we can get. I'll make the final decision and order the heater to have it on hand before we start the GH assembly, so we will know exactly where to bring up the UG gas and electric lines for it. For Juniperus... most all strike from cuttings but all 'Junipers' graft onto all junipers. The most common understocks are: species scopulorum & Juniperus x media 'Hetzii'. Metasequoia glyptostroboides (Dawn Redwood) roots from soft-semihard-&Hardwood cuttings or can ge grafted. Bottom Heat is essential and bagging the cuttings for one month and then 3 months without bagging...rooting in about 4 months. Well Karyn I will be anxiously awaiting a start of your baby. You folks are all enablers here.
