I brought an enormous number of tropicals and orchids with me when I moved from South Florida to Kentucky. Our truck was so packed with my plants that we "abandoned" some pretty nice patio furniture to be able to bring them all. I had to buy HID and lower intensity lighting, a humidity containment chamber (I got a large Hydro-Hut) fans, timers and the whole indoor grow room shebang. Now... five years later I haven't lost anything but I really have to question the money I have put into maintaining plants that I am "merely" sentimentally attached to. If I had it to do over again I would have found them nice homes with my Florida friends because as well as I keep them here it is not a perfect environment. That said- I love that I have the equipment because I have things no one else here has, I can start any seed or grow any plant, overwinter anything, and I have even increased my tropical collection quite a bit. So it depends- are plants something you want to fool with a lot? It does take time and there are things that they must have. If it is a hobby you want to participate in and are willing to spend a few bucks to do so, then good! But if you have other interests and priorities I'd leave them where they are happy and find more suitable plants for your new home after you get there. Maybe browse the Citrus forum here and get a feel for how those plants need to be overwintered- that would help you a great deal. And if you don't have a new house picked out yet it will give you a feel of what to look for. Hint- south facing garages with big windows are very handy... if a conservatory is out of the budget. Just my luck I went to their European website and found several couches I loved only to find that I could only buy couches made in the Canadian factory and all my favorites are not make there. I should move to Europe, I'd have an easier time finding stuff I would love to live with. I appreciate your response especially since the store didn't have any Lind couches on the floor at this time. I will seriously consider Lind and will wait till the store has some in the store to sit on. I know the leather swatch they gave me is beautiful thick leather. Sky

Oh geez amy, slap me upside the head, will you? I've been so overloaded and doing more glimpsing that focusing. I did the same thing, similar screen name, not Molly. I just sent her an email to let her know her online friends care and are inquiring after her. Didn't feel comfortable suggesting she come back and respond on the forums, figure being an old timer here, she'll come back when she's ready/able. ;-) If she doesn't post here but I do hear back via email, if there's anything Molly wants to pass along I'll let you know.

Because the print means so much to you, it's worth it to get exactly the frame you want without repainting or making do, especially if you don't like the profile of the moulding. A decent frame can only enhance it and you'll always love it. My brother used to own two frameshops and always framed items for me at cost with no labor charges. Because he bought quality supplies, was, himself, a perfectionist, and I could get very nice frames with the discount, they still cost as much as retail. Since then, I've had numerous prints and original paintings framed at Hobby Lobby and found they were more reasonable than Michael's and have been totally pleased. It's kinda like the cost of eyeglass frames, without the glass-it's hard to explain the huge difference in cost for basically, plastic frames.
