greenhouse question

I gotta question for you guys. my current greenhouse is 8' x 26'. I have always heated it with electric heaters. They do ok, but they use a lot of electricity. I am thinking of expanding the greenhouse to 16' x 26' and I think electricity will be out of the question for that size. Although I have considered running electricity to the greenhouse and putting polyurethane up on the inside of the wood, creating a 3.5" air pocket between the polycarb exterior wall and the inside. But, for a long time I've considered propane. Renting a big freestanding tank and using that. I have talked to the propane guys, I was already to take the next step, then I read that using 1 gal of propane will put essentially 1 gal of water into the air. That's a lot of water, and seems like a good way to spread disease.

My question is, those of you who have greenhouses, what size is your greenhouse and if you use it in winter how do you heat it? What do you find works best?
