How do I keep all this dirt off of my pathways????
Comments (4)Well, what do your pathways look like? Are they "below" the grade? Did you dig them out? Do they wash out? My paths are mostly filled with 3-4" of gravel and then old cement as stone. I don't care if dirt gets into them as the soil helps everything pack down. I've never had much problem with weeds in this area since I keep the garden weeded, but when spare seedlings get caught I keep them if they are low growing, and if the are not I either weed them out (I have a cool tool for this) or pour boiling water over them. A prinkle or spray of a weed suppressant product will help inhibit seed germination. If you are getting wash out during rains, sloping your walkways 1/2" to the "low" side helps a lot with the run-off. GGG...See MoreDon't do this at home
Comments (33)Another true teenager one... Make sure to tell them not to sniff the yummy odor of the freshly ground up powder too heavily. Then watch them take a big ole whif! It was funny as hell. I told him not to do it, but all manly like he went on as if to snort the Habanero Orange right out of the container. Just before handing it over, I gave it a little shake (my reason for the warning). Haha! Loved it!!! He must of sneezed 30 times after, ROFL!...See MoreHelp! My hands and eyes are burning! What do I do?
Comments (0)Hot peppers contain Capsaicin an ingredient in pepper spray! Wear gloves whenever working with peppers and as silly as it may seem safety glasses will help protect your eyes and make it harder to touch them. Using an oil, such as olive oil to rub your hands then washing with soap and water helps relieve the burning....See MoreHow many times a day do you wash your hands?
Comments (26)I wash my hands about that many times a day. We keep handi-wipes in the car and wash after each store we go in. We also have been using one after looking at the menus in restaurants because I read the menus are one of the dirtest things in a restaurant. We both have colds now, something rare for us, and blame shaking hands at church for that. I wish they would stop telling us to greet someone....See Morepepper_fanatic
