@floral_uk I've added small feet under the pots to have them drain and air better. I'll water them bit less in the following weeks, air them out occasionally as you suggested and see if there is improvement. Thanks for your advice. Any idea how long for them to grow roots? Should I leave them be till March 2015? I've planted them to root only a week ago and this is my first attempt at rooting from cuttings. Cheers

There's a lot of info on this forum, so you should browse around. But for me, I've used the grocery vegetable bag with potting mix and bottle on top method (bottle method), cutting has to be at least 6 inches if not more, stem at pencil size or 1/4" at least thick, rooting hormone. And then I need lots and lots of luck, cus my success rate is about 5% out of all the ones I've done these past two years. Other successful people have used other materials (sand/starter potting mix, perlite, etc). Good luck! And if it starts turning black, it's a goner. :)

Wow, I'd urge you to remove the cover immediately. Rubber plant cuttings take off really nicely so long as you don't over-water them. I must have made over 30 cuttings from a few different plants (one in pot, two in ground) in the last couple of years, and all I do it take a cutting, remove the last leaf to make an open wound, let it dry overnight, and stick the thing in soil. I have never had one die on me or not take root. Don't remove the leaves--and rooting hormone is not necessary. I never even cut the leaves. That said, I plant, I water and then I basically don't water for about 20-30 days until it's bone dry. A couple of months of doing that and you're set to go. No need to even check for roots; you'll see new growth coming up assuming the season is right.

Hi, Ann ... Please visit the adenium forum when you get a chance. Since you are the original poster, I'll answer you here. If you sowed 19 seeds and they all germinated, that is an outstanding germination rate. The seedlings look healthy ... Congratulations! Regarding the 3 that may be dying ... I believe what I see is 2 seedlings with damaged shriveled tips. Usually, what causes this is pulling on the seed casings or "hats" ... I have just killed one doing just that. It's best to defer from this practice. The casings will eventually fall off on their own. Once the tip is damaged, the seedling cannot produce leaves for photosynthesis and will begin to lose color & die. The white seedling is an albino and will die for the same reason. Enjoy your remaining seedlings. I hope you get a nice variety of blooms. The yogurt cups will keep them for 3 months, after which you can pot up to 3-4" pots.
