Hi guys! I have a plumie that I cut back the beginning of June. (It was growing way too tall and leggy and I was afraid that the base would not hold up.) That said, in the beginning the growth tip showed great signs. It popped out with 5 or 6 prominant bumps that I thought would produce branches; little leaves started to form and I figured it was on it's way. Since then,the growth has greatly stalled and the leaves are deformed. Should I cut this back again? If so, ss it too late to cut? (I live in Southern California, so we should still have a few more months of warmth.) I am attempting to attach photos. It is the first time I have tried this, so wish me luck. Also, the last photo I attached is the cutting I took and planted. It has fully leafed out and is doing great. It appears I have done something right :)
