Wow Dewaine, look at the color on that Kimo--love it!! And the baby Kimo is gorgeous!!!Line me up for that baby when she's big enuff :)
Dewaine- that Kimo is really dark. That valley heat sure shows. Mine were always more pink and yellow but they never knew 100 degrees. I really like the darker colors. I have the same problem with Jeannie Moragne- the red/orange is orange/yellow without the hot weather. Thanks for sharing. Bill

Thornton Maverick Finally opens!! Yard Tour..
Very impressing... The seedling looks great too
Here's what my Kimo looks like in Virginia, and I thought we had a hot summer -- so this is pretty strong coloration for here. I just love it though, and Kimo is one of my all-time favorite plumerias -- a classic must-have in any collection.
Nikki, you're on the list, but you'll have to remind me in a few years. My memory's not what it used to be. I make lists so I don't forget, then I can't remember where I put the list.
Bill, we have 2 Kimos in the ground. One at our place and one at our Son's place. We live about 4-5 miles apart. The picture is of the one at our Son's back yard. The one at our place looks like Dave's picture (very beautiful Dave). I'm almost 100% certain that the one we planted at our Sons place is a cutting off of ours.
With this crazy weather, I'm seeing big changes in coloration from month to month on the same trees.
Looks beautiful to me!!! I love all of the blooms...great job!!!
Makes me want more blooms...like tomorrow!!! LOL...
