Welcome to the Forum! I think you will find lots of good help here. I do not presently have any seeds (I am in the process of just starting my first plants from cuttings), so I apologize that I can't help out in that regard. But there are several sources on the internet where you can buy seeds, and they are not very expensive. As I noted, I don't have personal experience with raising plants from seeds, but I can point out that some of the nicer varieties have to be raised from cuttings to preserve the traits for which they have been bred. Not all seeds will reproduce true to the parent plants.

I can get you some internet addresses for seed suppliers if that would help.

Thanks Shane... I have found a lot of good information already. I found some sites where I could buy some seed and I think that will be the route I'll have to take. Your point about how cuttings are the way to get a true plant - that was why I was trying to see if anyone on here had a few that I could try and see how they turned out. Oh well though... maybe I'll be able to buy some. Thanks again!

Hey Matt, I am waiting for some that will be coming in the mail probably within the next month or so. I can certainly share some with you. I am getting a few that I am sharing with someone else, and in return she is sending me some, which I will share with you, but think it will be awhile before I receive those, and not totally 100% positive she will be sending them. If she does tho, I will certainly let you know. In the meantime, Ebay is a good place to look for seeds too. You can get them fairly cheap there.

I am fairly new with Plumerias and did not have any luck with the seeds I bought on eBay. The guy was really nice and sent me new seeds and again I did not have any luck with them. I don't know if this is common. However, I bought Plumeria cuttings from a website (found by google) and they are doing great! It was fairly inexpensive. I think the cuttings were $10 each, plus $5 shipping. I bought 2, a pink and red. I already have a yellow plant that my father had given me. It will probably be another year or two before I will see blooms on the pink or red cuttings but they were much easier to start!

Hey khanhly, I think what I might do is if seeds don't work, wait until next season to get some cuttings so that they don't have to go through the winter here until they are well established. Thanks for the info!

You will have your plumeria cutting. I will send it this week. I have one plumeria (white with yellow center I have the name at home not here) and another one that I was told was an African Plumeria. It's leaves are more narrow and the flowers are very fragrant. I am also new to GW and will be very happy to help a fellow newbie. LOL
