Rules of Cross-Pollination.......

I had a general question about crossPollination. Are all peppers able to crossPollinate with each other? Seems like I read somewhere that the only exception to this is the Rocoto type (Pubescens) which are somehow exclusive in the pepper world. Just wondering if this is the case....

That being said, I believe I have a Thai-Habanero cross that wintered over in a pot from last year. It started out as a relatively mild, large Thai (Prik Chee Faa type..)that I planted next to a row of Habaneros. When I planted seeds from some pods the following year, it was no longer long with smooth skin, but wrinkled and kind of moderate length. Just recently have the peppers begun to turn red this year, but I cut into one this morning and my mouth is still burning.........and I only touched my tongue to the knife I cut it with!! Incredible heat.....
