Mine arrived last week. Everything seemed very healthy, and my daylily divisions were large. I am typically not a daylily fan because I have grown tired of the standard orange tiger lilies everywhere here, as if people think, "Hey, who cares? Just put some orange daylilies here." But, some of the fancier versions are indeed beautiful so I'm giving them a try. I have never ordered or purchased them anywhere else, but I will say I never expected to get such large divisons. Some of my "single" daylily divisions were actually three healthy divisions packaged together. The peonies were also generous. Most easily had more than five eyes except for one, which only had two. I found that interesting. Since the rest were generously-eyed, I'm going to assume that two-eyer was an oversight. I also ordered two Astilbes and was not worried about GHW, but about UPS. It's a long trip from MO to Maine, and I wondered what would happen to them in the UPS truck. They had been packaged well but were indeed ready to be out of the hot truck. One astilbe had small roots, but the other had a much larger mature root. I expect both to do well. They have recovered well and we are getting some very nice moisture so far this fall. Overall, I will certainly order from them again! Will also leave a review on Dave's Garden, as well.

I'm thinking 1929 Spanish could write an article for us! I realized that years ago I did use ebay when I was looking to update fixtures in my house. Back then the wayfair and overstock sites were not around or certainly not common. I remember researching various light fixtures that I liked and finding them new on ebay from various online stores. I really haven't used ebay since. I do remember though that for the auctions, people had worked out some programs to help at the last minute if you really wanted an item and it would keep track and at the last second, raise your bid to just above the highest bidl Not sure how long that lasted but I do remember that. Also a lot of years ago, we sold my daughter's Mustang on craigs list. We did get many bogus emails (phone # was not included), most would start with "is it still available". They didn't ask normal questions about seeing more photos or condition. There was one that actually said she was in London and would not be back for a month, but she absolutely had to have the car. She' aws going to send over her assistant and it was some silly story that I don't recall entirely but it was to the effect that if we were asking $3,000, well she had already signed a check for $5,000 and she couldn't do another one. I just laughed. We were able to screen people pretty easily. DH dealt with them and the ones who we screened out ( enough to give them the address) were really nice, decent people. Re the area codes, yes I still have my south Jersey area code, although I am living in south Pa. It helps because when I get calls with that area code and it's not in my contacts, I pretty much know it's spam.
