What kind of potting mix did you use Aspin? Is it potting *soil* or a seed starting mix like ProMix that has no soil in it? How much and often do you water? Sounds like you may be over watering. You just want the mix to be moist-not too wet. Once the seeds have germinated, you want the top of the mix to dry between waterings. Or perhaps you are using a potting soil which could have mold spores in it? ProMix or a seed starting mix like it has no soil...it is a sterile mix of peat, perlite and vermiculite. How were the wisteria seed stored before you planted them? Is it possible they had been kept wet in storage and perhaps developed some mold?

O NO F4F!! I'm sorry! I mist daily too, I hadn't thought of the misting, I'm sure that doesn't help things. I am really starting to think that it is just the MG potting soil. Seems like everything I potted using that one bag got it first, then it spread to other plants, maybe from me cross-contaminating while gathering fallen leaves and checking for dryness, etc. I always try to be so careful when i buy potting soil, make sure no buggies flyin around it, and people probably think I am nuts when they see me smelling the bags for mildewy smell. This bag seemed to be fine. Well, I hope I didn't spread it to anyone else, lol. But maybe it'll help others to pay closer attention to their soil if they haven't been, and now they'll know what to do, after all there are SO many helpful links in this thread. My experience with mold in potting soil has been a little different than this, but maybe is relevant. I've seen multiple times with multiple high-end potting soils, that after first potting a plant up, mold, somewhat like what you have, appeared on top of the soil. This could be because the soil was too wet, but I don't feel I watered any more initially than I do after that. Every time I have seen it, I just re-fluffed the top of the soil and let the pot dry out a bit. After that, I had no more problem with mold in the pot and the plant did wonderfully...no harm whatsoever. I do agree with some of the above posts, that the soil doesn't look ideal. I don't know if that is partly an issue with the photograph though. I have taken pictures of plants before and had the soil look unrecognizable in the picture. I've even went back and looked to compare the picture with the actual view, wondering if I was loosing it. Nope, sometimes pictures of soil just come out weird. I don't know if that is the case for your Sans or not. Anyway, if the picture is accurate, I'd probably be more worried about the soil being the wrong soil than I would be about the mold. I'm sure some mold would be bad for plants, but I doubt (just based on my experience) that yours is a problem.

Tapla - I read up on mealy bugs, and used a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to kill the 2 bugs I saw. Then I preemptively swabbed a few other areas of the plant (stems, leave base, etc). Will watch this carefully! As far as the mold, I can definitely back off on the watering (usually 1x week or every 2 weeks, depending on how dry the soil would be). I've read that mixing 2 parts water/1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide and spraying it on the soil with the mold can help remove spores. Would you advise this? I recently repotted the pothos into its current home and I checked the roots, they looked healthy.
