Natives for border of gravel driveway

I am in NE Kansas and have an old gravel griveway (about 130' long). The gravel has migrated over the years so that the soil around it is shallow and just near rock. I would like to find some native grasses/forbes to plant in the place of the weeds (crabgrass and such). I need to seed as digging is very difficult. This area is mostly sunny and dry. Height needs to be under 4' for visibility, plants get points for soil stabilization and outcompeting the weeds. Any ideas????
