Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate. While all plants require some magnesium (a minor elementÂmeaning it is not required in high amounts) too much is not good for a number of reasons. (Salt burn, compete with Calcium, etc. If plumerias show magnesium deficiency, then I would consider. I typically donÂt see magnesium deficiency in plumerias but this is in Hawaii conditions. Often if there is magnesium deficiency, it is accompanied by deficiencies of other minor elements. Personally, I would prefer to use something like dolomite (which is a combination of magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate) if there is a magnesium deficiency, unless the soil is alkaline and you donÂt want to make it more alkaline with dolomite. dont know anything about epson salt so I asked a plumeria expert and he gave me the above response....anyone else with info please share it ...thanks
