Hot Peter...the most prolific pepper in extreme heat?

It's been over 100 degrees almost everyday for 6 weeks now with the high so far of 114 degrees(today was only 107) and most of my peppers have shut down production. My pequin, pasilla, cayenne, and de arbol(as well as an unidentified pepper) are still managing to throw out a few new peppers but nothing like they were a months ago. My 5 Trinidad Scorpians on the other hand have hardly produced anything although the plants are big and beautiful.

But I have noticed that the Hot Peter pepper plant is still throwing out lots of new peppers even in this brutal heat. It was also one of the earliest producers for me as well since it survived our winter which got down to 26 degrees this year. Anyone else having great success with this variety?

You can't really tell by the pic but there are quite a few pepper pods starting out of the flower blooms. I also harvested quite a few peppers a couple if days ago so there aren't many on the plant.
