Potassium - what are good sources

I was wondering, other than buying actual Potassium sticks (which I did forget (read neglect) to buy this year).

So, I was wondering if anyone knew of other products or sources of Potassium.... something in bulk.... something available in Southern Ontario Canada! LOL ;)

I bought a bag of water soluble potash 0-0-60 at a local greenhouse. It was no where to be found in the big-box stores. I spinkled that and some epsom around the base of the palms and they both readily absorbed into the soil with a little water.

Hello, sometimes its sold as "muriate of potash" its potassium.

The guy at the nursery told me to use cactus fertilizer when the peppers are flowering. It has a lot more calcium in it than most plant fertilizers. Habaneros especially use a lot of calcium to set fruit. He sold me an 8oz. bottle of Cactus Juice.It's 1-7-6. It has 1% calcium in it. use 1 capful per gal. water.Caps about a tablespoon I'd say. I think the bottle was about $5.00. He said spray it on the plant and soil then water it in. It's made by Farnam companies inc. in Phoenix,Az.

I had looked at Houzz, but I'm not sure I'm putting the correct words in the search box. But I'll keep trying different search words and see what comes up. The same with Pinterest. I had not put in "low decks", I was searching "decks without rails". Thanks for the link teacats, and for all the suggestions so far. The deck will most likely by DIY. I wonder if there's anyone out there who has tackled something similar to either of these project.

For and easy and cheap potassium source, buy a pack of peanuts, eat the nuts and put the shells in your soil.

Fireplace ashes in small quantities. NOT charcoal from the BBQ, but real wood ashes. Only problem is you don't know the real concentration. I know a grower in So FL who uses them on all his heliconias and they love it
