Comments (10)I can't give a positive ID from the photo, but IF they are Phoenix reclinata, be sure you have room. If they are a hybrid Phoenix canariensis, be sure you have room. The base of a mature P. reclinata, even with trimmed suckers, is roughly the size of a compact car, then the eight or more trunks will arch about 25 ft. upward. Comments (4)I would of never thought that, it looks like a mini palm tree lol. any advice for this? is it normally a slower type grower? Comments (5)The first palm tree looks more like a Phoenix Dactylifera to me ( i have 6 dif. date palms in a good size and it just looks a little more like a dacty. to me.) the second is a Yucca Rostrata and i would say a Washingtonia Filiferia because your in Cali... just like the huge trunk pictured is a filiferia so i would guess that little one is also... very nice palms tho -Justin in Vb...See Morecbal74
