Oh my gosh is that Kimo..wow. I have that, a small two year old, but am now so anxious for it to bloom. that is georgous, happy for you. Love the other one pansy one too, Nice full bush, such rich colors, lucky you. (Next time turn your camera left for a show of your pool..ok?) Love to see your beautiful back yard.

Karen I do need to take some new pictures of the rest of my yard and pool. I have been too focused on the plumies! I missed getting pics of my Tiger and Easter lilies. Their blooms are gone now, but I do have Day Lilies, Cannas and Oleanders all in bloom now.

Bet the lillies were so pretty. Its most enjoyable to see how everyone decorates their back or front yards, gives us ideas too. We all love flowers. Be looking for pictures!!

Wow! Just saw these. That Kimo is so incredible. I have one with inflos starting, but I wonder if your heat causes the deeper coloration. Mine has taken a while to get established. Hope this summer it takes off. I got it from a local tropoholic who has flowers on his plant nearly all summer. And it seems to be a more compact plant.

Pink Pansy is another on my list that I gotta find. Cuttings were selling a bit high for me on EBay, but I'll keep trying.

Dave, these two have just amazed me. I don't know about the color of the Kimo, but post up some pics when yours opens so we can see if there is much difference. I can tell you that mine opens this real deep color and then fades to a much lighter orange over the course of a week or so. The scent is faint but smells like honeysuckle.

The Pink Pansy has been blooming for nearly a month now with no end in site. It has a strong sweet scent of sweet tart candy.

I'd be content if those were the only two plumerias I had! (yeah, right!) Yes, my buddy's Kimo seems paler, so maybe it had already faded. I guess I've just never seen a newly-opened one. I really like the wide, overlapping petals on it.
