NuMex Big Jim - need some questions answered

Hello all,

Will a Big Jim fare well in a 2.5 gallon pot? If not should I go up to 5 gallons or larger? I could put 2 of them in a 20 gallon if anyone thinks this will work. One of the growing shows on TV said they like sanduy soil and heat. The heat I have but growing in containers I use ProMix BX.

I usually grow sweet pimento type peppers in EarthTainer or EarthBox but have run out of both for now.

Anyone grown the Big Jim in a container and had great success and prolific harvest??
