Aleppo is one I'm interested in. Earlier this year, I got a promise from someone to send me seeds this fall in exchange for seeds I sent him. He asked me to remind him this fall, so I've got to remember who it was! I think it was one of our Canadian friends. Tom

Not fair you people in warmer climes! I grew Aleppo peppers last year after obtaining seed from two different sources. They were slightly different peppers but after drying, didn't seem to have that fruitiness I enjoy from purchased ground Aleppo pepper (package is labeled as Hallaby). I look forward to your reports on how the peppers taste fresh and dried. I am growing a couple of plants again but this year didn't start them as early as I did last year so I'm afraid that was a big mistake. The plants were fairly productive and grown in a high tunnel with the sides rolled up so had a pretty hot summer.
