Anybody else have ants in the garden?

Okay, I give! The insects are definitely going to take over the world. First the spider mites and grasshoppers, then a couple of tomato hormworms came sneaking in. Beetles in the cukes and melons. Then it was a whole colony of house flies in Shelley's bathroom. Not to mention a wide variety of wasps in assorted sizes and colors, or Jeanie with her biting gnats. Now I have little tiny grease ants on the tomatoes. The kind that also go by a name which I will not use here, but are common in kitchens and have been busily coming into houses in search of water.

I don't believe I've ever seen ants crawling on tomatoes before. Is anyone else having the same problem? I imagine it's because a lot of my fruit is cracking and the ants are looking for whatever they can find. I just thought it was unusual. It's got to be the drought, right?
