If I remember right it's from a virus in the seed,otherwise the plant looks healthy.

Hey Mike that is weird. Did you just notice this? Do you remember how it sprouted?Looks super healthy. Thanks for the awesome seeds as well( Bonnie's pepper swap). I was also curious about one of the peppers I received( not one of yours i do not beleive) called the Bermuda pepper. When I googled it it said it was in the same family as poison ivey and can have the same effects to human skin. Have you ever grown this and if not i would love to send you some seeds? I can't recall the name for this type of self-grafting, but I don't think it's too unusual.
I generally only see two stems fuse at a time. Your super-fusion is really cool!

Mike - I agree that is weird and too cool. Keep us posted on how it continues to grow and how it produces. It's so thick leafed I wonder how well it will blossom and polinate.

Romy6 - The Bermuda seed you received in Bonnies Swap may have come from me. I've grown it for a number of years and it's - Bermuda C. Annuum. Its pods grow upright and about 1 1/2 - 2" long and shaped like a small Jalapeno. It's very prolific.

Last year was my first year growing orange habs and most of the stems were like that. I didn't get a picture of the stems, but they looked healthy until the frost!
